Polo in the Olympics

Recently, watching the olympics, it really got me wondering why Polo is not included in the olympics. Random sports like water polo (actually the oldest sport in the olympic), beach volleyball, BMX, and even trampoline are olympic sports!
Yet along with TUG OF WAR, Polo got chucked out from being an olympian sport. Now we are all trying to figure out how we can get it back in, making groups, signing petitions etc etc
But lets all be honest for a second. The olympic sports, the best from each country in each sport represent their country, the BEST, not 2-4 goalers, or 12 goal tournaments- THE BEST. While in some sports (such as football), proffesionals are not allowed to play to keep it fair, in polo, you take out the proffesionals, you take out 90% of argentinean polo players. Including, and rightfully, the Adolfo Cambiaso's of the world.
So if it was done this way, as it should be, then Argentina will not have so much of a blatant advantage over other countries, but a lot of hard working proffesionals will not reap the benefits of their sport in the olympics, including the Nina vesteys and Henry Bretts of England, John Paul Clarkin of New zealand, Selby Williamson of South Africa, and etc. May hurt, but it works in football, and does well for young polo. No?
P.s other sports like Golf, Cricket, and Base ball are not in the olympics, yet immensely popular. May be we should concentrate more on getting international awareness for the sport of polo!
P.S.S When Argentina first played in the olympics, England got beaten 11-0!!!- Shortly after, polo was taken out of the olympics.

Next president?

No not the FIP or HPA. But should the polo world be worried about who the next American president should be?
You know how lots of issues have trickle down effects that inadverently affect something other wise un-related.
well this might be one of those cases.
I mean, you never know, the democrats could look into other ways of oil provision, suggest horse power (literally) and we will have no more ponies to play on...ha!
OR, the republicans could make this war keep going on, the general world population falls, and some how we get affected....
what other interesting ways do you think this could affect us?? get creative! post different odd ideas and work that brain!!!

Polo groupies!

We love them, and we love to hate them!
By we love them, its us men, the slew of beautiful girls lining up to do "whazever ze wish" is rather flattering after a game. However, female polo players are not all that keen with female groupies being around, they waltz in with dresses they saved for weeks to buy and well manicured nails and done up faces, while the female players work and sweat playing chukka after chukka, only to finish, win, and have every one's attention on the supposed bimbo.
You find them at most polo events, particularly the glamorous ones, women looking for rich husbands (they aren't honestly that many wealthy men in polo ladies, a good percentage are proffesionals who love to chill out on their farms and do not experience much of the glitzy life!), and young men looking to make new business contacts.
What is our general opinion of them??
When you are playing, you find you love them, cheering and pretending to know what they are on about, well, those are the more respectful ones. Others do not even pay much attention to the game. Alot of people whine about groupies, but REALLY, WHAT WILL POLO BE WITHOUT GROUPIES??- Chess!!

p.s we can see why Jordan will make a good polo player, she has two big balls and knows how to work a long stick!
